Mazatlan, Mexico is booming with new development, from a 32.5-acre park called Parque Central that will contain new attractions, and new hotels. The two attractions set to open in the Spring of 2021 are Acuario del Mar de Cortes (Sea of Cortes Aquarium) and Museo Mazatlan (Mazatlan Museum), The aquarium will have a central courtyard with waterfalls, a 660,000-gallon oceanic tank with a tunnel and shark feeding area, and nearly 40,000 sf of exhibition areas.
