It’s paws-itively impactful when Global Meetings Industry Day celebrates dogs on Amelia Island, FL photo courtesy of AmeliaIsland.com

Who let the dogs out on Amelia Island, FL? It must have been the celebration of Global Meetings Industry Day on April 11 by U.S. Travel Association, the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Nassau County Animal Services for their Paws-itive Impact Unleashed. Tourism and hospitality workers were treated to ice cream and greeted by wagging tails and dogs up for adoption – all to showcase the many ways meeting planners can collaborate with local non-profit organizations and build a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) component to their meeting or event.
