War is not conducive to business, on-time travel, conventions, tourism, or to global well-being. Privately, I have heard hospitality, meetings & events industry professionals, entertainers, hoteliers, and local professional members of my community discuss how business is unpredictable. Clients hesitate to sign on the bottom line while the world is reeling from an unexpected escalating war. We have already learned of two luxury hotels in Dubai, UAE being bomb-damaged, and now a major conference in that city, slated for June 2-4, has been cancelled.
