We have already learned of two luxury hotels in Dubai, UAE being bomb-damaged, and now a major conference in that city, slated for June 2-4, has been cancelled. Hundreds of thousands of travellers are trapped in Middle Eastern countries, unable to find safe transportation to evacuate, at the time of this publication. Reports are that people with a couple hundred thousand of disposable funds can charter private planes. What about the rest who thought they were taking a limited time vacation or were hosting conferences and meetings and now are responsible for attendees’ safety and welfare? My commentary is not about the politics. I do want to know if this sudden war has impacted your safety or your business, whether abroad or in the United States.
